Ingredients
- 4-6 ounces hot water
- 1 slices lemon
- 1/2 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon Bragg citrus ginger apple cider vinegar
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
- 1 teaspoon Manuka honey (optional)
Preparation
- Pour hot water into a mug. Add the lemon and ginger. Let the ingredients steep for a few minutes until the water cools enough to gargle comfortably.
- Stir in the citrus ginger apple cider vinegar, salt and honey, if using.
- Discard the lemon and ginger slices; gargle or sip on the warm liquid to soothe a sore or scratchy throat.
